Discus

Discus are a timid variety of Cichlid from South America. They're a beautifully marked fish with many varieties, some of which are listed below. They require pristine water conditions which are best acomplished using Reverse Osmosis (RO) water. A large aquarium of 5ft or larger with a PH of 6.2 will be required. They are best kept in a group in a species only tank or mixed in a planted aquarium with a peaceful shoaling fish.
